The world's leading standard for ethical wool. Every ZQ grower is independently audited on animal welfare, land management and social responsibility, and every fleece is traceable back to the farm it came from. Ours is Glenaan Station.
Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)
An international certification with its own independent audits and full chain-of-custody tracking, so the wool in your garment can be traced back through every stage between farm and finished piece.
Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV)
Run by the Savory Institute, EOV measures whether land is actually regenerating, not just whether it's being farmed responsibly. Glenaan Station is verified: soil health, biodiversity and water cycles are tracked over time and the trend is up.
What regenerating the land looks like
- Rotational grazing: stock moves before the pasture wears out, so it has time to recover.
- Fenced waterways: rivers and streams stay clear of stock.
- Tree planting and native revegetation: stabilises soil, gives stock shade.
- Biodiversity monitoring: native grasses and species are tracked, not assumed.
- No synthetic fertiliser: soil biology stays intact.
- Grazing that mimics natural herd movement: builds soil carbon instead of stripping it.
Better soil holds more water, carries more species, and grows stronger fibre. That's not a claim, it's what EOV is measuring.

Every Hemprino garment is knitted, finished and packaged here. That's shorter transport, local makers kept in work, and one less link in the chain where things get hard to trace.
